Is there a video game where your the riot police captain and you have to try to defend a city from protestors?

You’d have to make calls about how to spread out and move your cops across the city. There would be stats like PR, casualties, the economy etc...

And you’d have to decide when (and if) to move up to rubber bullets and water cannons etc

There could be different difficulty settings for the AI ennemies

Hell maybe there could be multiplayer where you have multiple police jurisdictions and you have to work together etc

Tropico can become like that sometimes. Also it might be implemented in Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic sometime, which is an economy and city builder set in soviet east europe. :^)

You can even build Red Star from concrete and steel and they look quite cool too.

Also basically any game where rebellions can occur.

When you end up giving a little boy a ride on the Tesla because he’s a huge fan and his father, whom you don’t know, asks you to at a grocery store parking lot. That was odd.

It was odd. It was around the parking lot, granted, but I was super weirded out by the request. The kid had a blast though, so that was cute to watch.

Do you get to decide whether or where water cannons get used?

Or did the soviets not have water cannons?

The term "burgher" is linked to the phrase "bourgeoisie" in that it referred to the folks who lived in the cities during the High and Late Medieval periods, and by the Early Modern period had evolved into a "middle class" between the largely agrarian lowborn and the ruling (but also largely-agrarian) aristocracy.
I may return for somewhat longer than I was initially expecting. Why am I here? No idea whatsoever. I really ought to find some way out of this place.

Also, the NS stats don't reflect my RL views, just to clarify.

War and Riots have not yet been implemented in the game. Its still quite fun already.

Given theres specific individual vehicles, including fire departments, I could imagine them being dual use in the future. So water cannons technically exist.

When I watch this video with the glorious music I can’t help but think one thing:

“Communism Will Rise Again”

It doesn’t matter how capitalistic you are, if you watch this video and it doesn’t at least awaken some Soviet instinct in you, then I’m shocked
