I just finished going through that Dominic Noble fellow's Twitter takes. My overall verdict is is a resounding "meh", really. Not horrendous, but really not my cup of tea. I won't be returning to his content any time soon.
I may return for somewhat longer than I was initially expecting. Why am I here? No idea whatsoever. I really ought to find some way out of this place.

Also, the NS stats don't reflect my RL views, just to clarify.

Yeah.

He's not my cup of tea: I prefer CinemaSins, especially since CinemaSins comes with less... baggage than many of Nostalgia Critic's projects.

I never really watched him, seemed nice enough and I like the first viewing series he does nowadays with his brother. No idea what kind of baggage he has and unless he's like that Swedish racist or he raped someone I don't really want to know. For film related youtube stuff I mostly watch Lindsey Ellis's videos, real good that is.

Good. No really, I mean it. However, for your reference, he was a former TGWTG/Channel Awesome contributor. His videos are somewhat better than most who were formerly on that site, and his other takes are somewhat better than those of most who were formerly on that site. Upon going through the dregs of former Channel Awesome contributor shit, the only things I enjoyed (outside of Dominic Noble's Fifty Shades review trilogy) are some of Todd's music reviews (his takes on non-music things are garbage, though), and Lindsay's critique of the world-building of that Will Smith Orc Cop film that Netflix churned out a while back. And that's just because I already disliked Bright after watching it.

For posterity, if you all want a list of the channels that I'm currently subscribed to:

  • Defunctland
  • EC Henry
  • ERB
  • EckhartsLadder
  • Fredrik Knudsen
  • GrayStillPlays
  • Hello Future Me
  • KrimsonRogue
  • Overly Sarcastic Productions
  • PewDiePie
  • SootHouse
  • Spacedock
  • The Templin Institute

Outside of this "core" of channels, I also enjoy PragerU YTPs (it became a meme among my classmates after Mr. Prager visited my high school in an event best described as "surreal")
I may return for somewhat longer than I was initially expecting. Why am I here? No idea whatsoever. I really ought to find some way out of this place.

I tried re-watching some older episodes recently, and all of them were awful. And then I made the mistake of delving into some of the former TGWTG contributors' social media accounts, and most of them have garbage takes on most everything, in my view at least. Really, the only one I can think of off the top of my head that isn't awful (or that didn't turn into a shitty human being) is that Dominic Noble fellow, but that's just because I somewhat enjoyed his reviews of the Fifty Shades novels and I didn't read through his Twitter yet.

Peter Noone looks like someone should check with the headmaster at his school to see if he has permission to be out of classes.

He lives in Santa Barbara in California now, he's 71, and he still looks pretty decent.

He still seems to be ageing about ten to twenty years behind his age. Guess he must of found one of those Fountains of Youth.

For the next few days at work it's just going to me mumbling the song while doing work. Driving everyone else mad. I love it!

It's an interesting and quite old song, popularized by Harry Champion, who is interesting himself, an old, traditional music hall man from way back. He was born in Bethnal, in London, and lived for many years in South Tottenham.

Why, if there is an afterlife, am I imagining that as the sign that welcomes you to it?

Yeah, but I wouldn't call something made in... I dunno... Vegas (just an example) an "import".

Hong Kong and Macau control and regulate trade from the mainland, seeing as how they run their own borders and trade policy.
