I have a short story that I started working on last year that I'm still only about halfway through finishing (and given how far I've gotten on it, I am not about to let myself give up on it because the only story in my life I've ever finished writing was a crappy Warrior Cats fanfic back when I was 14). In the meantime I've had about two dozen other story ideas pop into my head that I've not even begun to write. I've had a webcomic idea sitting in my brain for months now, but I haven't even started creating characters or anything for it. I also want to try songwriting, but all I have are crappy, half-finished lyrics in my head.

And when I have the rare opportunity for free time where I could pursue these things, I feel completely unmotivated and just want to lay on the couch and play video games. Ugh.

Well, I just remembered and re-read one of the first threads I participated in after making my "Swaglord" account a few years back, the "personal quirks" thread. And good lord was I a mess back then. Like, my posts back then were a mixture of intense self-loathing combined with attempts at being "wacky". Thank God I grew out of said qualities, or else I'd have had a thread on the Farms or a page on ED by now, tbqh. If I was like that nowadays, I'd be a LOLcow.
I may return for somewhat longer than I was initially expecting. Why am I here? No idea whatsoever. I really ought to find some way out of this place.

Also, the NS stats don't reflect my RL views, just to clarify.

Thanks. It's weird, really. My first account on this site was one called "Jusitopia", the only major accomplishments of said account being destroying a mid-sized region by a mixture of incompetence and bad luck (RIP Hogarahoiprash, you were too good for this sinful earth), but perhaps more infamously was my attempt at making a live action film adaptation of NationStates (which was... yeah, I don't know what Me-As-A-Child was thinking, tbh). In hindsight, it seems that most treated the thread as a silly affair, which was rather neatly contrasted with my utter conviction that it could work. My ambitions far exceeded my capabilities, back then. The thread itself ended because I was banned from the forums for being (at the time) twelve. So that went nowhere. I occasionally lurked, but the Swaglord account was my first "major" NSG thing since my pre-teen years. The Swaglord account could perhaps be divided in two phases: Early Swaglord and Late Swaglord. Early Swaglord was more an extension of my Jusitopia days, really. It's just that I went from being an immature pre-teen to being an immature adolescent (I started the Swaglord account when I was fifteen). The Late Swaglord period began in mid 2018, when I was 17. I had since shed most of the cringe of my youth, but my views were far less refined, to be honest. By the end of the Swaglord account's lifespan, I was largely unrecognizable from the pretentious, obnoxious youth that I was when I began the account, whining about the shit that every adolescent deals with as if it were something that only I could understand and spewing a simplistic, dogmatic conception of the world. In short, I was a little shithead when I created the Swaglord account.

Sorry about the text wall, but does that make any sense at all?

Fortunately, I have no really old posts. Not on this site, anyway.

As for other sites, the internet may remember but I've managed to block it out!

Makes sense I guess. I didn't really do anything on this site until 2017. Well I participated in the whale auction but that was a stranger time.
