As far as I know, Leveyan beliefs in the supernatural are not necessarily literal. They believe in "magick" but I think it's supposed to be more a symbol of human will and ability.

Being treated as a religion despite not being one is a win in my book, and outstanding commentary on religion as a whole, that you can just make something up and justify certain things with it.

I can tell you that Homosexuality wouldn’t be persecuted, at the very least.

I personally assume it would be a lot less "moral" and uptight, quite possibly libertarian and socially liberal. Satanism is very anti-indoctrination and that sort of thing, so authoritarianism might be less common. I cannot say for certain, however.

I believe not totally different or unrecognizeable at this point. Considering that the mentality and culture in the west had been shaped for centuries by christianity and other factors derivating from it. Societies do not exist in a cultural and historical vacuum and satanism being the major religious influence would be just one of many factors to be taken into consideration.

Depends. Actual devil worship is probably horrifying and cultish. Laveyan satanism is just free thought mixed with edginess in the name of triggering religious extremists
