Fun fact, if Biden doesn't win then Trump will probably be able to stack the Scotus Conservative 7-2.
You see, the thing about this type of slash and burn tactic is that you're the only one getting burned by it. Oh, and BTW, Biden and Sanders have almost the exact same presidential goals.

A profound misunderstanding of politics. Slash and burn away, now is the time for slashing and burning, and it will take place regardless of your feelings.

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

Because we all know the most reliable predictor of what you're going to do as president is what you're willing to say to get elected president. As if we're supposed to believe campaign promises are legally binding or something.
With Sanders you know he's fought for the same basic things his entire life: basic soc-dem stuff, fundamental welfare state provisions to address the failings of hyper-capitalist America. With Biden you don't even have that, you instead have a guy with a fairly conservative record, who among other things worked to cut social security and supported the neocon push to bring the US into Iraq. Why should I care what his professed goals as president are?

"Then it was as if all the beauty of Ardha, devastating in its color and form and movement, recalled to him, more and more, the First Music, though reflected dimly. Thus Alnair wept bitterly, lamenting the notes which had begun to fade from his memory. He, who had composed the world's first poem upon spying a gazelle and who had played the world's first song upon encountering a dove perched upon a moringa, in beauty, now found only suffering and longing. Such it must be for all among the djinn, souls of flame and ash slowly dwindling to cinders in the elder days of the world."

What I like is fairly unimportant. My personal preferences don't really factor into this analysis.

tfw a Republican-dominated Senate overwhelmingly passes a bill that gives people something close to universal health care (at least for testing), grants paid sick leave and bolsters the welfare state, with the added, delicious cherry on top that the same Republican-dominated Senate bullies the right-wing "libertarians" into submission when they try to sabotage the labour rights in that bill
It feels soooo good.
