Marxist-Leninist to be exactly.

Still is technically.

Vietnam is a unitary Marxist-Leninist one-party socialist republic, one of the two communist states (the other being Laos) in Southeast Asia.

It's not "really" Marxist-Leninist though!!!!

No. The idea that all the world's problems are caused by capitalism is wrong.

Close, in my opinion. The end of capitalism on anything other than reformist terms is more likely to damn us all than deliver a Socialist utopia.

It's also thought that they collapsed (The Bronze Age Collapse) due to the command economy. Or at least, the effects of the collapse were made far worse.

Fair point.
So, one counterexample.

It's also thought that they collapsed (The Bronze Age Collapse) due to the command economy. Or at least, the effects of the collapse were made far worse.

Well, not quite. See, the Collapse is kind of a mystery, and what caused it, we’ll probably never know. But what we do know is that while the complications of the system almost certainly helped worsen the collapse, we do know that wasn’t the cause. The collapse itself doesn’t happen without the command economies (tautologically), because there are no grand civilizations to collapse without them.

Ahh. Yeah, that’s fair.
Although one cannot discount the disadvantage the industrialized command economies were starting from.

Well, they weren’t. Economies as we understand them did actually exist before the Bronze Age States. It’s just that command economies were the only ones that worked, save for the aforementioned Phonecia (whose economic structure I can’t find anything on.)

Regardless, I’m not making a comparison-Capu claimed that command economies didn’t work, so I was pointing out that they had.

It's the kind of situation which doesn't really allow for absolute yes or no answers, and requires detail be added to them.
