Industrialists are still dealing in oil and coal, though.

Yes, seaweed can actually be used as livestock feed that leads to lower emissions from the animals. There are actually a surprising number of industrial uses for seaweed.

Then the case is defeating the pushback of traditional agricultural companies.

I have yet to find a single person other than me who is actually a Marxist. There are a few who might be, but most are definitely not. And I study political science, probably one of the places you'd expect to find most of them.

The next recession will economically cripple millenials.

Boomers, however, can laugh until they die of Alzheimers, peacefully.

The cause definitely seems to be capitalism as a whole when seemingly every developed capitalist country in the world is experiencing the same process on differing scales.

I never said it was, but it's part of the process of modern economies to decline and reach a late stage.

I almost never argue with the intention of changing the mind of the person I'm talking to - I do it for any 3rd party that might bear witness, including people who might be sympathetic to my point of view.

In any case, I have presented you with a reason why your line of thought is a wee bit too simplistic. Respond or not. Just telling me you don't care is not an argument.

All those former East Bloc states are capitalist, and always have been. Ever since the NEP, Marxism-Leninism stopped being about proletarian revolution, and became just another form of state capitalist modernization strategy. And that includes all the problems inherent in capitalism, including crisis

If that's the case, then there's no location where the effects of socialism can actually be tested and we therefore do not know that it's a problem with capitalism.

I mean the best way to understand the Soviet Union is as one big corporation, the territory as a series of company towns, and a lot of things start to make sense about it's erstwhile senselesness.
