That's a weak dodge. You are making the case that by investigating terror groups that aren't white supremacists, the Fed is effectively less capable of investigating white supremacist terrorists. That is a claim you need to prove.

The federal government has been accidentally pretty good at stirring up white supremacist sentiment in the past. I wouldn't say its weaker as it is idiotic in the approach. Case in point, the overblown reaction at Waco caused people who sympathized with white supremacist values to become full-blown white supremacists. This was only hardened when U.S marshalls and others fired onto a family at Ruby Ridge killing a mother, and child. This kicked the hornet's nest equivalent of white supremacists in the pacific northwest harder than anything you can imagine. It doesn't help that the government would be found to have had a role in the very events leading up to Ruby Ridge (by accident).

Nothing in your post actually supports Liri's claim. All I take from your post is that the Fed can be heavy handed and foolish, to which my response is "uh duh".
