It should be banned for being based on luck not strategy.

How about it increases your hand/ eye coordination, it enhances your ability to react quickly, to filter important information better.
And some games even help to learn how choices can make a difference.

He threw a rock at me, so I stabbed him with a pocket knife. In grade 4 I got in a fist fight with a kid over a hole in the ground we were digging nicknamed "the mine." He wanted to eventually give up the idea but I was thoroughly convinced at the time that we were gonna Strike gold and be rich, so words were exchanged and it turned into a fight. I started videogaming in 5 th grade, and since then I had a lot of fights in school but that was just cause I was an out of control kid (and adolescent). I didn't really stop getting into physical altercations till I was 16 and almost got killed when I got in a fight with a guy on PCP..that was a wake up call.
The videogames don't make kids violent. The kids already have issues
Video games help me relieve stress personally.

That's some Testlandia or Portlandia or Pacomia or wherever when 230 casualties occurs and the reaction is meh. I agree it is de-sensitizization. How do we even spell this word?

Actually that's probably why I'm not emotionally affected by mass shootings. I mean, yeah I hate them and think they're evil and monstrous but, I'm not emotional about it.

I don’t think it’s as simple as anti-gamer feelings, gaming is more popular now than ever and society has long gotten over the fear that games prime child psychopaths for school rampages. Unfortunately, mass shootings tend to be picked up and weaponised by liberals and conservatives for their own ends. Liberals blame guns and the right counter by blaming video games. Ideologues aside, most everyday Americans need someone or something to blame, it’s how people cope on a day to day level.

That’s how HOI4 feels. That’s also sort of how mass shootings feel, at least to me.
That makes a lot of sense.
All we're getting are numbers, not much about the victims.
It also probably explains how White Supremacists don't care-they see others as statistics.
They in other words, are sociopaths and psychopaths.
