Gun ownership laws were much more lax or even nonexistent in years past and yet there were few, if any, mass shootings. There's a deeper problem here and all the gun control in the world isn't going to stop it.

I don't think it's a magical cure-all, which is specifically why I said in my very first post in this thread "Something needs to be done to put a stop to this shit as much as is possible." I think Socialism's the closest thing to being able to put a stop to shit like this as much as is possible, on account of how it can solve many of the systemic problems in America that directly or indirectly lead to this kind of shit.
