You mean terrorist attacks that happened in mere days of each other and where the attackers had a shared ideology? Can't ever be related!

Well, not with any defeatist attitude and certainly not with our current government, at any rate. If we could nip in the bud the bullshit that's driving people into the dredges of far-right ideologies and the bullshit that turns normal people to crime, such as poverty, then we could.

Unironically that's just another reason among many why we need some form of non-authoritarian Socialism in America. The sheer amount of shit that could be solved by having the economy's means of production and resources shared in common rather than held in the hands of a few - such as the systemic problems currently plaguing society that drive a good deal of people toward hateful ideologies that eventually compel a number of them to eventually commit shit like mass-murder - is tremendous.

Multiple people were killed Saturday in a shooting in El Paso, Texas, the chief of staff to the city's mayor said.
Suspects are in custody, Olivia Zepeda said. It wasn't immediately clear how many people were in custody or how many had been killed or hurt.
not much in the media pipe lines but multiple agencies reported that around 18 people injured from the shooting and multiple businesses near the area as well as a school near by were placed on lock down.
Update: Multiple people are dead and three people are in custody after a shooting Saturday morning at an El Paso, Texas Walmart, according to authorities.
"We're searching multiple scenes, but primarily the Walmart," said Sgt. Enrique Carrillo of the El Paso Police Department, pointing to a nearby mall as another area of focus. "There is not an imminent threat. There is no active shooter currently."
Mayor Dee Margo told CNN three people are in custody, but he did not give a number of victims.
"This is a tragedy we would have never ever thought would happen in El Paso," he said.
The police department tweeted to stay away from the Cielo Vista Mall area. The police also said people should avoid the area from Airway Boulevard to Hawkins Boulevard to north of Interstate 10, near the Walmart.
Multiple videos on social media posted by shoppers have shown people fleeing the nearby mall.

Sure, if you're angry at the right thing. Not so much so if you outright identify one of the systemic issues that outright causes shit like the mass-shooting at El Paso to happen but then get furious when somebody brings up the obvious solution to that.

It's easy enough. If it was a terrorist attack, right wingers would demand changes to prevent more of them, which is understandable, and crackdowns on Muslims, which is also understandable given their Islamaphobia. After shootings, they demand some unique type of timeout before anyone talks about this sort of thing because they don't want to do anything about it. They don't really care about the victims, they just want to avoid losing their precious 17 guns.
