I don't understand drug use myself. If I want to enjoy myself, I get a hobby. Can be useful, and usually without any side effects.

The experience. Nothing quite like it. Also the thrill; like getting through airport security still high on MDMA.

For a time, one of my guys was a copywriter at one of the big advertising agencies. I don't know where he got it from, nor why he would moonlight as a drug dealer when he had a decent day job (sounds incredibly stupid if you ask me), but his stuff was decent and reasonable.

The thing is, I think he made more money selling drugs than he did during his actual job. Guy had apartment much nicer than his salary would suggest.

I've mostly contained my narcotic use. I absolutely hate psychedelics and I haven't touched cocaine in close to a year.

But I must say, I sometimes struggle with alcohol. I drink about 3-4 times a week.

A financially well off family. I don't have to worry about that until I'm literally homeless. That is a likely fate for the long term, but it at least isn't so imminent.

I’ve only seen one anime, Goblin Slayer, and I hated it. It’s not very good, writing and worldbuilding wise. However, what’s more interesting is the acquaintance of mine who recommended it to me. He was a real character, so to speak, the type of obsessive Japanophile that one commonly finds in greentext stories. He brought his c r u s t y body pillow to school one day, in order to celebrate the birthday of his “waifu”. To this day, I’m not sure how he got approval from school officials to do that, especially since the school I attended prided itself on rigorous discipline and proper conduct. My point is that anime corrupted his morals.

Well…Goblin Slayer is a bit of a meta-commentary on traditional fantasy anime, which is why it’s focus isn’t exactly on world building. There are some things you can’t just watch without knowing the background.

I would recommend Eve no Jikan to you, if only because it’s something I think you might actually enjoy.

I don’t know about Tabletops, but it’s a meta-commentary on fantasy anime…much like Rise of the Shield Hero (although that’s more Isekai, which overlaps with fantasy).
