I'm in a Teaching program and the opinions being expressed by the faculty and my fellow students are quite frankly kinda scary. Like, "we need to give up meat to save the environment" tier levels of stupidity. The whole Leftist Academia thing is also really panning out this semester, with wonderful titles like "Christian Privilege" and advocacy for Social Reconstructionism.

Your daily reminder that agriculture accounts for 9% of US Emissions alone. Unsurprisingly, this gets worse abroad, where it becomes 18%.

For me, the same reason I don’t like pumping anything into myself, it strikes me as artificial and dangerous. Who knows what is happening to my body as I eat my meal? My testosterone could be plummeting, I feel sick every time I eat KFC, perhaps it’s making me addicted to the food because it was designed to do just that? I don’t know.

I only fast on Wednesday till 3:00pm and then only a small meal before dinner, and on Friday I don’t eat until dinner (and no meat) unless I’m doing something strenuous, in which case I have something small. And on Sunday I don’t eat until Mass is over. I haven’t been doing that this week because I have grown lax and distracted with exams. I’m beginning to think other dietary problems are the cause of my sickness, like sugar addiction and sleep deprivation.

I also overate last Monday that I was vomiting at night with an uncomfortably full stomach causing me to eat very little on Tuesday.

Sugar addiction and sleep deprivation can be two major factors and are often underestimated. The first can be fixed by putting your self on a 48-72 hour water/sea salt fast which will reset your bloodsugar system and bring you into ketosis. You will have terrible headache though. From there you can work your way out with low carb foods. Eggs, meat, vegetables etc. No sweets or noodles.

Sleep schledule fixing is harder.

I don’t like taking medicine either and try to keep away from it as much as possible if I can. Vaccines make me uncomfortable but it isn’t like I can refuse, we have to get vaccines here.
