Well in the 80s and 90s the didn't accept homosexuality, didn't support gun control, didn't believe this climate change nonsense, didn't support universal healthcare and free college. A lot of them do now, quite sad really, the party of Regan have become the dems 2.0 and trump is trying his best to stop that from happening but I fear he won't succeed.

It's good that the GOP has abandoned partially the GOPist creed and ideology that was, for its own value, garbage anyways.
