But I do agree that Islam was a threat to Europe; and you could make the argument that many of the later wars against the Ottoman Empire; striving to halt their advance into Central and Eastern Europe constitute Crusades in it of themselves.

Well whose original purpose are we talking about?
There were many different parties involved.

For the Italian banking clans sure. But they did not do it alone.

That's right, they used the Franks and Germanics as patsies.

I finally log on to this for the day after having a pleasant morning, and I find the borderline fetishization of atrocities/war-crimes with some thinly-veiled racist sentiment as well. I must say that, while I probably shouldn't be surprised at this, I'm somewhat disappointed in you all. Actually no, I'm very disappointed. No offense is intended, of course, but I nevertheless felt the need to express my... dismay, perhaps? Either way, I'm disheartened(?) now.

I have no idea why representative Tlaib is surprised about Israel. Her ethnicity is treated by the Israelis, and Arabs as syphilis. At least the Saudi’s have to care when one of their slaves from abroad threatens to jump from a hotel over severe employer abuse (because it looks bad).

I'd be a lot more likely to take Tlaib's side if she wasn't openly rubbing shoulders with publishers of blood libel. As far as I'm concerned, she deserved the ban she got, and it has nothing to do with Israelis disliking Palestinians. It has everything to do with her empowering people who want to ethnically cleanse Jews and who peddle Antisemitic canards.

I would say it has a bit to do with it. The Palestinians are essentially upjumps who can’t figure out how their pathetic excuse of a nation will die faster. Whether it’s by the water running out or becoming too polluted to drink or by angry Israelis bombing the hell of them for launching attacks that end up killing people. The Arabs play the Palestinian sympathy card, but at the end of the day treat them no better than a syphilitic prostitute begging a mob boss for money to get treatment when it’s too late.

The biggest harm to the Palestinian Arab cause is unfortunately the atrocious conduct of many Palestinian Arabs.

For example in Gaza they actually elected Hamas, despite knowing this meant eternal warfare, brutal theocracy and economic ruin.

The majority (not all, I do feel bad for those that did not) votes for collective suicide.

Well it’s not like the Palestinians haven’t embraced the anti Semitic chics funding their exploits to remain continuously in a position of opposition to Jews. Of course the one thing that at least the Egyptians, and other nations surrounding Israel realize is they know the damn people can fight.

I don't think you're giving the Palestinians enough credit here. I view them about as sympathetically as I view the Kurds, the Catalans, or any other secessionist/nationalist group. I believe they have a right to their own nation-state and to basic human dignity, and I believe that, providing they can come to an accord with the Israelis, they'll produce a state that's par for the course when it comes to stability in the Arab world. The issue is that the Israelis and Palestinians can't really agree on where they want the border to be.

Yup. Israel wasn't honoring the spirit of the peace process even during the negotiations themselves. Negotiating with the PLO is a public relations stunt.
