You realize that Britain has won several guerrilla wars in its history?

1776 was a long time ago (243 years ago), so it is kind of pointless to still have hatred over our not-so-recent revolution. Though admittedly, I've heard that some hatred went on for much longer. Particularly amoungst Turks and Greeks getting into flame wars on the internet over the conquest of Constantinople.
Greater Loegria wrote:Oh yes, it was great entertainment watching them meltdown on your election night. As much as I don’t really like trump, watching Cenk slowly go from smug eagerness to looking like someone shat in his handbag to full blown rage still gives me the chortles.

I found it equally amusing.

I’ll be as hateful as I bloody well want over what I bloody well want thank you very much. 1776 was it’s the beginning. It was America’s deliberate supplanting and undermining of the UK in the 20th Century that really grinds my gears. From the Washington Naval Treaty to fucking Suez. America only intervened in either war to become the new hegemony. Special Relationship my bloody arse. The UK has had American cock down it’s neck for almost a hundred years and yet come the Falklands War the US had the gall to try and ‘mediate’. It’s an absolute outrage. Not to mention their exportation into our once green and pleasant land of their fast food chains, largely shite music and now trying to buy parts of our NHS.

It’s like leaving a piglet out to pasture, come back later and it’s a fucking boar on a rampage.

The closest major system we have to gun licenses in the US is the license to carry, and in every state it’s been implemented in it’s been a phenomenal success.

What ‘proof’ do you want? I’m not going to waste any time if the proof is ‘unconvincing’ by virtue of itself.

Under law are supposed to be ready to fight to defend their country. Plus self defense, sport and hunting. I agree fully automatic should generally be restricted but law abiding and mentally capable people should be able to arm themselves, within reason.

Probably because the evidence that "proves" the existence of god is shaky at best. I don't support hate speech laws, but their existence doesn't prove that Britain is anti-Christian. If they treat Christians more harshly than Muslims, and you can prove that, then you'd have a point.

You miss the point, dude. I’m asking, precisely, what the standard of ‘proof’ is. I’m not going to waste my time giving ‘proof’ only for them to say, ‘This isn’t proof!’

That makes no sense. Since you have resorted to talking complete nonsense then I guess you have no proof at all. Alright then.

Is that why you've been in decline since 1918?

We've been in relative decline since even before 1918, because as larger countries like the United States, Germany and the Soviet Union caught up with us technologically our industrial base was simply too small to compete with them on equal terms. It has always been quantity, not quality, that we lack.

Largely because you had no idea how to properly organize a lasting Empire.
Your refusal to expand parliament and adopt a federal system ensured you empire could not survive.

The US did not start out with quantity. We gained it an kept it, because unlike you we could organize a proper federal government (well except unfortunately we did not keep Cuba, Mexico and the Philippines but still what we have kept is a lot)
