Good American States to Visit

Postby Bread Herbert » Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:50 am

So, I might be taking a trip to the USA next year (depending on how some things go). It seems that a lot of American states have their own beauty along with good points and bad points. The states that seem to get talked about the most are New York, Florida, Texas, California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Alaska and Hawaii seem pretty but I am hoping to visit the 48 states.

In your opinion, which states are best to be in or live in and why?

The best one to visit is probably idaho. It's scenic, clean, safe and there's next to no one there to bother you

And then one day you look in the mirror and you realize that you ain't you anymore. You're just another monster, and thanks to your actions, someone else will eventually become as warped and twisted as you. Never forget that the best of us are just the best of a bad lot. Being at the top of a pile of feces doesn't make you anything but shit like the rest. Never forget that.

Yeah I seen pictures of it and it seems pretty mountainous. I like mountains.

Just avoid Missouri and you should be good.

North and South Dakota are pretty scenic if you'd like a vacation in a very remote, nature-filled area.

Aren't those states kind of flat and barren?

Washington, specifically the northwestern part of the state out on the Olympic peninsula. The Hoh Rainforest in particular is gorgeous.

Good, we have nothing to offer. Flee! Flee for your life! I mean the Ozarks are wonderful but not if you are planning on visiting the wider 48, there are much better places that are similar to them.

I have an Uncle who lives in South Dakota, he says it's beautiful.

New York is great. New York City is amazing but if your looking for something more relaxed we have the gorgeous finger lakes region with great towns like Ithaca and Skaneateles. If mountains are more your thing there is the Catskills and Adirondacks. Lake George is also beautiful

I've heard that Minnesota is a beautiful state to visit. I recommend Minnesota, L'etoile du Nord.

Not been to the USA yet, but I know an American who has given me good travel advice. The only places she's really spoken badly about are Ohio (bland as fuck), Florida (too garish) and the south in general (too many gun ranchin' rednecks).

Georgia is an awesome state. You can go from a city to the mountains in an hour. Three hours to get to the coast. There’s a lot to do in Georgia but the best part is the mountains due to the AT trail.

Though do keep in mind that the US is massive. It will take three days to get from coast to coast. So do not plan to drive from NYC to Seattle or NYC to Orlando. If you are visiting the US take a plane

The south really isn’t that bad. The idea of gun ranchin rednecks is mainly a Texas thing. Though some in South Georgia can fit it as well.

The south as some beautiful scenery though. From rolling hills and flat plains, to coastal areas, to metro areas, to beautiful mountains

I have but only to the Outer Banks and Roanoke Island. Both beautiful though. I highly recommend it. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is in the Outer Banks

Vermont is very cozy and relaxing.

New Mexico has a really interesting aesthetic. Recommend seeing that just cos it's so unique.
