Because Christianity doesn't even follow Moses' laws and neither Christians nor Jews believe that Moses was infallible and a person who others should aspire to be like. He freaked out and smashed God's commandments (the only thing God ever wrote) out of anger, and bungled his mission so badly that God made the Jews wander around the Sinai desert for decades until Moses and the Jewboomers all finally keeled over dead. God in fact specifically bars Moses personally from entering the Holy Land due to his sinful ways, not once, but twice, for two separate reasons (Deuteronomy 1:37-38) (Numbers 20:1-12). God outright calls Moses' generation evil (Deuteronomy 1:35)

On the other hand, Muhammad is specifically named as someone Muslims should aspire to emulate and be like:
"Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much."

Kind of ironic that the Ottoman Empire was pushing for modernization (they decriminalized sodomy throughout the Empire in the mid 1800's) and the West sided with Wahhabis to undo them. Even more ironic is that most flogging and anti homosexual statutes in Muslim states are not in Shariaa court, but in courts using colonial law. It's a pip.
