Labelling Antifa as domestic terrorists is not a good idea. Antifa is a loose movement, not an organization, and its application could be used to target anyone who professes to be an anti-Fascist. That said, if there are tangible organizations under the Antifa banner which attack civilians, I have no gripes inherently with them being labelled as domestic terrorists.

I probably wouldn’t do that unless they did something extreme like blow up a building. Terrorism has connotations, and you don’t want to dilute them.

It’s the sex offender problem - when it started including things that were socially unacceptable but not heinous, it diluted the category - to the point it now means nearly nothing.

I agree, everyone ought to oppose Fascism, but Antifa's philosophy is not just opposition to Fascism, it is an opposition to Fascism by any means necessary, a philosophy that's not immoral or unethical to not hold.

Also, much of Antifa's broad stroke accusations of Fascism also reek of attempting to eliminate political opposition. Much of Antifa seems to think "Fascist" and "conservative" are synonyms.
