For me it needs to be a very hot day and I need to be with others in a backyard to have beer. Otherwise I'm a seltzer/soft drinks kinda gal.

I do enjoy Yuengling if I am going for a lager, though.
Angry Orchard Green Apple, Sinammon Apple or plain hard apple cider are good too.

On another note... anyone tried hot beer before? As the name suggests, it's basically beer that's unchilled and in fact pretty hot, like someone left a can of it under a hot sun for an hour or two.

Maybe it exists somewhere, but I can't for the life of me imagine it. A chilled or cold beer is the only one I've heard of.

I drink beer when I can, it's good.

The question is though, German or Irish?

I don't know of people drinking beer hot, but drinking beer at room temperature is generally the way to do it.

Hot beer? Never heard of it. Hot pepper beer? Another story...if you ever come across a beer with a habenero soaking in the bottom of the bottle... beware! BTW, I'm on a vodka kick right now, although I am a Bourbon/whiskey guy...beer? Switchback (unfiltered ale) is my go to...

Some beers are good room temp. I like my stouts to be a bit warmish.

Some beers are better cold. You don't wanna drink a lukewarm IPA. Yuck!

Well, I'm German ... make an educated guess as to where the best beer comes from! :P

Jokes aside - while I do drink mostly German beer (preferably Pils, but I can bear Kölsch as well, with the additional corn schnapps ^^), one can just as easily please me with a good Guinness (although I like Kilkenny a bit more). I also enjoy Pilsner Urquell, although I enjoyed it a bit more during my trip to the Czech Republic a few years ago, for it's cheaper than water there, whereas it's very expensive where I live. ^^
Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)

IPA was literally designed to be drinkable at warmer temperatures. There weren't many fridges in 19th century India....

We drink certain beers at cellar temperature. It's not warm, it's just not as chilled.

One of the most important things in a beer cellar is temperature. A UK beer cellar needs to be kept at a constant temperature of 12 degrees Celsius (53.6 degrees Fahrenheit) - 24 hours a day - 365 days a year. This temperature can vary up or down by a degree or two but no more.

It may be drinkable at warmer temperatures but it is better, in my opinion, cold.

I drink beer occasionally. I don't really go out of my way to have it, but if someone offers me a beer, I'm happy to drink it.

From my own experience, coolness preference in Germany varies individually a bit - some drink it at cellar temperature, some want it ice-cold. The latter may increase in summer, at high temparatures, but I also know people who perceive a beer 'warm', if its temperature reaches +5°C, throughout the entire year.
But warm beer? May please some, but I've never met anyone who drinks it warm. (Yuck!)

Brits probably like cellar beer because the place is cold and gloomy most of the year, cold beer just ain't that refreshing if it's already cold and wet outside.

Unfortunately, although I do like to indulge with beer and other spirits, I can’t drink anymore. Not until my doctor finds out why my jaw and the back of my throat hurt horribly as soon as I drink booze.
