The more important question being, why not both?

Have you forgotten the horrors of Canada's decent into anarchy when gay marriage caused the country to be attacked by time traveling gorillas riding cybernetic dinosaurs?

Oh, wait, that didn't happen. You're right no problems caused by gay marriage.

Actually, if you look at countries that have gay marriage, such as Canada, they weathered this economic crisis fairly well. Clearly, god loves fags.

socialist countrys have been known to have better recovery against economic problems, but that system also has its own problems. Socialist: a car slowing down for a stop sign : Capitalist: Car hitting the breaks at a stop sign. Both usually survive but the socialist dosn't get hit as bad, but as i said the socialist style has its own problems.

If you honestly think Canada is a socialist country you either
a) Don't know what socialism is.
b) Don't know a thing about Canada.

Which is it?

Sorry, I didn't mean there entirely socialist but they have socialist qualitys, dosn't make them evil or anything. Sorry you took such offense to that.

I stand by my statement. There's a huge difference between a social democracy. The existence of crown corporations and medicare do not = socialism.

Meanwhile: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-0 ... -2011.html

Either way, I stand by my point. Canada's recent economic success (their dollar is stronger than the US's) is a sign that god loves gay people.

Now that's a little far-fetched...

Ban gay marriage and ban pink and red ribbon!

We must ban blue ribbons too. Gender roles sexualize children!

Off-duty strippers wanting to educate child strippers in personal adornment should only be allowed to use yellow ribbon. Or maybe sparkly. Maybe.

All your positions supporting gay marriage are flawed. At least in this country. This Republic was founded as a Christian Nation. If you don't like that then you always free to leave and go to some enlightened nation. If you feel persecuted you can always become a modern day pilgrim and find your own Mayflower. No more conjecture, show me in the Constitution where you have the right to marriage.

I can laugh at this, because I don't live in "this Republic". But please consider how offensive your factually-incorrect statement could be to other US Americans.

It might seem to them that your ignorance casts them into a bad light too. Apparently, their education system has failed to teach you much about the founding of the Republic.

And to Steffenville, all men are created equal, correct? Then why should homosexuals not share and enjoy the same rights as heterosexuals? And besides, this is a different time. Different measures.

Blue ribbon is indeed hideous when placed on pre-pubescent genitalia but I didn't include it because I didn't think anybody would attempt such travesty.

He was implying homosexual marriage.

But his argument is flawed anyways...I have read the constitution and find no such basis. However, it is nonetheless prohibited by law.

In every state that has allowed gay marriage, when a vote was taken the gay marriage was abolished. How about that for rights?

yes to the top and to the pregnant part, that's just silly were not talking about babys lol, were talking about two people that love eachother forming a union to eachother. Id like to point out again that christians don't get to define what marriage is.

Yeah. There should be COMPLETE EQUALITY among EVERYONE. So women should have penises and men vaginas. And everyone should be the same age all the time, and all look the same, and earn the same amount of money, and act...you get the point.
