Why Magocracy, now with joke options

Postby Magocratic Aidonaia » Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:28 pm

In this thread I will argue that The wisdom of the wizards is superior to the wisdom of Jesus Christ.

Jesus demands you give up your clothes and worship him as god. A good wizard will mostly hope that you will develop yourself spiritually, even if generally they probably think you should do some charity, for said purposes at the very least. Like take Yoda, he wants you to learn the force or whatever, but he doesn’t expect you to give up your clothes.

Also, Look at Harry Potter, they send him to a magic school. A Catholic sends you to a school that teaches you old biggotries and demands you not touch yourself.

The chinese emperor is an example of a magocracy. He divines portents, and tries to make good relations with heaven through some rituals, rather than your not touching yourself. More importantly he actually runs the empire. Jesus Christ flat out denied to rule the world, leaving it to degenerate into the barbarism of the dark ages.

Will you, NS, therefore accept the rule of wizard overlords?

Sure. Why not? It's not like they could do any worse than most modern governments.

This has to be a troll thread. Are you the same dude that was saying that people should change their name to numbers?
Anybody who says that I support non-Islamic slavery, persecution of non-Muslims, rape, domestic violence, terrorism, pedophilia, killing homosexuals, hating Jews, etc is lying.

Wizards don't actually exist. Nice try, though.

I agree that it would have been more worthwhile for me to have been sent to a wizarding school rather than Catholic school

I have learned that you all want to be lead by elites rather than seize the means of production so I am proposing a wizards council.

At wizarding school, at least you get an owl. All I got from my education was a fear of Hell and misunderstanding of evolution.

I don’t take anything, I had a psychologist, but he decided I wasn’t psychotic and accepted my world view, and stated that he just wasn’t comfortable studying the dark arts. And who can blame him? I can’t tell you THE HORROR

I mean magocracy would probably be a better system of government than secular liberalism or communism, but for now I think I would say I prefer Christian monarchy.

The fact this poll lacks an option to "Return to the Glory of the Tribunal" perturbs me. Why settle for House Telvanni or the Psijics when you can have the living, incarnate gods of Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and the Warrior-Poet Vivec? The considerable lack of Buoyant Armigers in this thread is also notably concerning, in general.

Wow I am surprised you didn't say anything about communism this time.

EDIT: I rather not have a council of wizards, so no.

Wait, what are you even talking about? So basically, you want some kind of divine rule with active usage of magic and rituals for its governance?

No, just a theocracy that says you can touch yourself and don’t have to worship desert prophets or their pet gods.

House Telvanni hoarded magical knowledge in Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and beyond, and were/are one of Morrowind's ruling houses. The Tribunal (Temple) were the thearchic gods of the Dunmer during the same game, of which Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec were members. The Psijics are the Psijic Order, rulers of the Isle of Artaeum; essentially reality-bending mages of immense preternatural power. Buoyant Armigers were Vivec's personal guard for the Tribunal Temple.

So yes. Elder Scrolls.

To a beggar. Of course, I think one should be charitable, but I am not sure this nonsense of giving up everything, unless that’s just how one prefers to live. Personally, I don’t covet material things, but let’s not go overboard.

This is my wisdom, as a failed wizard, and you can bow down and accept it if you want, or not.
