No he made it worse, I have no respect for him because he used that as the excuse.

If he believed it was all horsecrap instead of using a suicide story-something I've lived through myself so I feel personally offended because that is horseshit as that's not a fucking jusitification-I'd be more understanding. And you're hostility is more offensive in that regard, towards me being religious.

He doesn't really need your approval, now does he? Its a justification for him, and that's clearly all that matters. Well, to him. If we don't believe in your god, do you think we care if your religion accepts our justifications?

I'm just an offensive person. I believe the world would be better if we liquidated church property. But I dream, knowing I will never live to see such a day.

Huge quantities of scriptures are not meant to be taken literally. This is a huge part of why I am a Catholic. Since Jesus isn't on earth, he passes off his authority to the Church. The Bible says as much. Catholic church teachings are far better ordered and far more rational than just scripture. You ought to look in to them.

Catholic Libertarian. Gov't has no authority, all authority is from God. God grants us free will, gov't should not infringe upon it. Legislating morality is wrong. Only exception is protecting rights to life, liberty, and property. Abortion is killing an infant, one of the few things gov't should prevent. Pro-Trump, he's been an effective weapon against real enemies of freedom: The Left, but I wish he were more for free trade, more against deficits. Unrestrained capitalism is a great thing; it does wonders for standards of living of everyone, especially the poor.
