Nope. There is no direct or indirect democracy. Either we are or we aren’t. And we aren’t. Being a republic or because citizens can vote on something doesn’t necessarily mean we’re a democracy.

The election chances are not looking great. Because the same people that came through for him in '16 will do it again in '20. Plus, we have the same gerrymandered maps.

Are we really surprised at the end of the day? He has nothing to fear, especially when 90% of the Republican Party is behind him though he risks isolating other voters.

Also, shouldn't this be in the MAGA Thread technically??

That is utterly false for most republics. Let's take France for an example, it does not recognise ethnicity in it's statistics, only that each person with French citizenship is French. Most modern republics were grown from the ideals of the liberal revolution, which includes the type of nationalism focusing on the nation part of the word rather than whatever the fuck tribalists are yelling about.
