To assume all Republicans are racist is wrong. I am not racist, and my family and friends aren't. And we don't tolerate racism (in fact, we hate it), we just respect the fact that other people have different opinions, and we shouldn't go all Stalin or Hitler on them. They have the right to free speech, and, as long as they aren't hurting anybody, I won't start imposing on their daily life. I am not going to start campaigning or encouraging, or just tolerating racist policies, and if any were implemented in our, or any other country, I would disagree and some Republicans might actively protest. But we aren't going to go witch hunt people for opinions, are we?

They're either racist or they don't care about electing racists to get what they want. Again: deplorable.

What do you mean "attack the voting power of minorities"? The laws surrounding elections are the same for all citizens. Race doesn't factor into it. And if you are in any way suggesting that minorities are less capable of acquiring ID, you are the racist here.

I love it when you guys do that. "If you're suggesting our law that disproportionately affects minorities disproportionately affects minorities, you're racists."

In North Carolina, Republicans gerrymandered districts that hit black voters with "almost surgical precision" according to the judge that ruled on it. It's also strange that so many of these weird requirements on voting rights so often disproportionately affect minorities.

Look at trump. You don't really have to deny hating minorities anymore so I'm not sure why you care so much about what I said.

There is a clear racial pattern to Trump's behavior and his utterings.

https://www.vox.com/2016/7/25/12270880/ ... sm-history

1973: The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to black tenants and lied to black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to discriminating before.

The 1973 case was settled ("I never settle court cases") in 1975 yet by 1978 the Trumps (Donald and his daddy) were sued again for the exact same thing. And again in the 1980s.

1980s: Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.”

1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary.

Donnie's attitude here is basically evidence schmevidence, they're guilty because they're black.

2000: In opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”

2011: Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Obama — the country’s first black president — was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a ”carnival barker.” (The research has found a strong correlation between “birtherism,” as this conspiracy theory is called, and racism.) Trump has reportedly continued pushing this conspiracy theory in private.

I agree with this analysis:
For many people, none of these incidents, individually, may be totally damning: One of these alone might suggest that Trump is simply a bad speaker and perhaps racially insensitive (“politically incorrect,” as he would put it), but not overtly racist.

But when you put all these events together, a clear pattern emerges. At the very least, Trump has a history of playing into people’s racism to bolster himself — and that likely says something about him too.
And of course, there’s everything that’s happened through and since his presidential campaign.

There is a clear and unmistakeable pattern. It's not one or two incidents which might have been slips of the tongue. When something keeps happening, over and over again, it is no longer an accident, it is a pattern and the pattern is damning.

Probably he thinks only Fox and Breitbart (the two most unrealiable and lyingest media in the USA) are acceptable.

Vox article is bigly sourced. And the Trumps and their racism towards potential black people renting apartments is part of the court record.

But some people believe that Hillary was evil because of Benghazi (4 dead) and Ronnie R was a big hero despite Beirut (300 dead of which 250 marines).
Or: Obama bad because of Iran deal, but Reagan a big hero despite Iran-Contra treason. And why Ollie North isn't still in jail baffles the mind, the man was the lynchpin of this treason.

Some comments:

1. In a democracy the gov represents the will of the majority of people. If people want Islamism they will get Islamism. If people want fascism they will get fascism. Hence it makes no sense to say that people with certain views inherently shouldn't be leaders.

2. The interests of elites and the interests of commoners will never agree. Elites are always competent self-interest maximizers who don't give a shit about commoners and commoners are always simple, bigoted and incapable of figuring out what's good for them. Commoners as a group will never win. The only solution to the plight of commoners in any society is becoming elites.

3. Belief in pro-social myths correlates with low social status because elites don't believe in what they invented to indoctrinate others and because being a member of the elites requires one to know dark truths about the universe.

You can not have a universalist democracy because ideologies most people have can be reduced to one-liners
such as "whites suck", "blacks suck", "Jews rock", "Jews suck", etc. Anything more complicated than that has no mass appeal.

2. Trump is a Machiavellian opportunist which is something neither side seems to get. (That is, Trumpism doesn't exist as an ideology for he flip-flops for self-interest maximization. HE IS NOT AN IDEOLOGUE LMAO) If racism brings votes, why not spread it?

Dude we can't just fight racists in the street for choosing a bad president. That's not his this works.
Anybody who says that I support non-Islamic slavery, persecution of non-Muslims, rape, domestic violence, terrorism, pedophilia, killing homosexuals, hating Jews, etc is lying.
