I’m all for laughs (not most of the time) but storming one of the planet’s most secretive military installations just to ‘see them aliens’ because of a Facebook post? And have a hundred thousand people join it either as a joke or unironically? I don’t think everyone’s not gonna to truly forget once every newscast is covering a massacre of a hundred thousand people by the US military at Area 51.

It used to be a smidge more clandestine when, iirc, it was used to test experimental aircraft in the Cold War, which is why it's speculated so many alien and UFO rumors originate from there.
