NS2 wasn’t very popular and it was short lived. The only poster I recall mentioning NS2 several times was Luzyica. So if anyone, I’d say him but not for using it.

Which is a sad sort of selection bias. I'd probably be a happier person if I paid more attention to the good around me.

I wish Cantelo would come back. I miss her factbooks and roleplays.

My gut says it's RL stuff in the way. Same with PAS. I was surprised by Cantelo's activity in December of last year and then found that her nation is a few months older than mine.

I got hit by the CTE bug first in 2012 (after reaching my desired gameplay stats by answering issues) and 2014 (stressful time RL: a short return found me auto-relocated from my RP region to Rejected Realms and lost motivation shortly after). Diarcesia almost CTE'd 3 months and 15 months after creation due to writer's block, weekly logins and instant log outs prevented that.

One thing I learned is to worldbuild and RP at a relatively slow pace so that, as the Spartans used to say, I "may always have something to offer".

Fun fact: If anyone here is active in early 2014, I'm using the same flag as that nation at that time.

1000 Cats was a nice guy to talk with about literally any other subject besides zoophilia.

As for the zoophilia... If that stuff grosses people out so much they don't want to even hear about it, the best thing you can do is stop posting and don't remind everyone.

I don't think there's any relation. Mr Bananagrabber II was just a banana kid spam account; he probably just saw the name somewhere and copied it, which would tend to make me think he had a previous incarnation and a grudge/unfinished business. I doubt a literal 4-5 year old would have been able to use NS when the original Mr Bananagrabber joined in 2011 anyway.

Edit: Oh, apparently the guy who's currently doing a suicide-by-mod around NSG is actually Soldati Senza Confini; look here for details. That's quite a shame because I too always liked Soldati. How the mighty have fallen.

Yeah, I do genuinely believe that Cantelo left things going on in real-life. When I spoke with Cantelo, she had mentioned that she was a 'college' girl so I'd assume that she is busy with that. I would normally just leave it at that, but recently, I found a nation whose flag was VERY similar to that of Cantelo. (Alenshire) I am positive that this is not Cantelo, but it has sparked some sort of interest.. like a void in me.. to find out if there really is something more to it. PAS is still somewhat active on the Srivijayan Consortium discord, but I just wish that he continued to create content for his nation. It is really heartwarming to see so many people reunite on here, honestly.

Well, I am still somewhat active, despite approaching to college closer and closer by every year. That said, my writing speed has been affected as well - I used to write quite long texts in a fast pace in the past, but now my writing has become slower, and my newer factbooks are still heavy WIPs. I know I have said this a lot, but I think, that this time I might actually stop writing them, and focus on finishing the new ones.

Back in the day, 1000 Cats was a pretty popular poster who was definitely into zoophilia and presumably confessed to acting on that, er, I'll call it a philosophy.

Then 1000 Cats got into an argument with the mods. It's one of the most BS DOS's out there. Basically instead of giving 1000 Cats a 24hr ban or anything to chill down, the mods just kept DEATing nations until finally [violet] told them to DOS 1000 Cats. (Some mods still do this "escalate the incident" instead of "calming the situation" down shit.)

Years later 1000 Cats is seemingly only remembered for being a cat rapist but I assure you, back in the day, he (iirc) was a popular poster or, at least, people were unhappy for the way the DOS went down.

I should count my lucky stars that I have not met some of the mentioned people during my short NS career here.
