Yeah, I was so sure of that one and I find it hard to believe. Not just a family member got their password though, they know too much about the other posters.

EDIT: The link doesn't wrok as long as the thread is locked, and/all Soldati's posts removed to the evidence locker. A new poster called just "Soldati" came in flaming and carrying on arguments Catalina V (on ban) had started. I asked them if they were Soldati Senza Confini they said yes. It remains to be seen if that is true though.

Mr Bananagrabber is the sort of poster I remember in the same terms as Caninope, Hydesland, Joseon, Neu Leonstein ASB, Nadkor or, yes, Yoot or FST (for the stuff they did that didn't get them DOS'd).

Mr Bananagrabber II is a menace whom we should forget.

I really hope the two people are different. But, then, that would just make the latter poster worse. I mean, at least similar players like Karinzistan (assuming they're not the same person, of course) have the decency to think up an original name.

Anyway, if you want unchill NSG look up NSG Culture and the Rules & the threads its big time participants were posting in at the time, it's a thread. DOS spam isn't really indicative of the worst this forum can be since, hey, DOS spam is against the rules.

I don't think there's any relation. Mr Bananagrabber II was just a banana kid spam account; he probably just saw the name somewhere and copied it, which would tend to make me think he had a previous incarnation and a grudge/unfinished business. I doubt a literal 4-5 year old would have been able to use NS when the original Mr Bananagrabber joined in 2011 anyway.

Eh, that's assuming he is still on the site and is reading this. Besides, this thread is about memorable NSers, famous or infamous. For better or for worse, the Banana Kid had an impact and has his place in NS history. It seems that a few others before me listed the Banana Kid on this thread, too. From what I gather, some considered him to an annoying menace from hell while others seemed to consider him to be something of a savior that broke the monotony and provided entertainment for a while. Kind of like Kaito Kid from Magic Kaito. Some considered him to be just a pesky thief/illusionist, but others were amused by his antics and cheered him on.

Besides, at least he didn't rape cats like another mentioned user (1,000 Cats) did. That guy deserves to be in prison for life.

All I can say is that I despise rapists and animal abusers. He was both. As such, I hope he rots in prison and learns the hard way how hurt, terrified, and psychologically damaged those poor cats were thanks to his perversion.

IIRC his defense was "in my country it's fine, so there's nothing wrong with me talking about that stuff".

He and FST (link1 link2 link3) were around at the same time and both attracted a lot of controversy; they were kicked off around the same time, which was right around when I joined too, so I got to read all about both of their shticks. A day after FST got booted, it came out that he had been a DoS player all along who had just managed to fly under the radar thanks to a highly unusual new fixation.

This is correct. Link to DoS (6 May 2012); the nation "Sixteenty" (and "Seventeenty") came after the "Significantly Fewer Cats" mentioned in the middle quote.

Here on 10 May 2012 (four days later) Reppy explicitly refers to 1000 Cats as DoS.

Here another guy has a puppet of his called "10000 Cats" deleted as the mods didn't want any impersonation or glorification; in this thread (9 May 2012) NERVUN also refers to 1000 Cats explicitly as DoS.

And with NERVUN having retired from the mod team and ceased to exist, he definitely qualifies as a memorable former NS'er too.

All I can say is that aside from the zoophilia, he was knowledgeable in a number of interesting topics. He got me in touch with male domestic abuse victims, as he was very involved with them.

I mean let's be honest, we all have dirt under our fingernails (even though this particular instance is up there with the worst of it), but clearly he didn't think of it as such, and couldn't help but constantly mention it.
