It'd be more fun to visit the local run down, abandoned K-Mart than this bunker.

Maybe I should have gone with a store that isn't barely hanging by a thread and is fully defunct - Toys-R-Us.

...no. In the case of the bunker we are talking about something that has been rotting underground for over 70 years, and various parts of it have been repeatedly dug up and blown up during that time. I'd guesstimate that there is under half of it actually recognisable as a bunker, as the rest will just be chunks of steel and concrete. The rot sets in very quickly when a bunker is not maintained. I visited some former GDR bunkers that were in use up to 1990, and even in just 30 years of neglect many of them are in exceedingly poor condition...

I'm uh, actually a fan of ruins and abandoned places. There's a reason why urban exploration is so popular.

Although yeah... Seems like the kinda place you go to, take a picture, and then leave cuz it probably reeks of stagnant water.

While the Bunker will by all likehood not be reopened as it has been largely demolished and largely collapsed there seems to be some kind of fear surrounding the concrete matter.

Even IF the Bunker would be turned into a tourist attraction, Its not like Adolf Hitler will be reserructed and pull a stunt like in the "look who's back" movie or so. Is the thought of another tourist trap and making cash of the Untergangers, chinese tourists and the occassional Hitlerist that much a source of gruesomeness and unconfortability?

If you would tell me, yes the place has a negative dark energy or so. Ok that be an argument, a disputable one but nevertheless.

Tasteless? Well theres a lot of tasteless stuff going on at Concentration Camp tourism. Google it up. And those are argueably far more horrific places.

But no such one has been presented yet.

Sounds like you're just making claims that may not be true since we can't know because you have nothing to back them up.

You've made two statements now that you've not given anything to back them up with, so I'm taking anything you say with a grain of salt.

Stalin killed way more people with his policies in Ukraine, He exported food to other countries while Ukraine was starving.

Sure, but why does every single time somebody points out how evil Hitler was it turns into this competition or genocide olympics where "Yeah but so-and-so killed more people!"

Can we just admit both Stalin and Hitler were terrible people without trying to insist that one was worst therefore making the other one somebody we should like, even just a little bit?

Nazis gather at the house where he was born at Braunau am Inn every year to mark his birthday, so it'd be better if the remnants of the bunker weren't dug up, as the same kind of shit would happen every year in Berlin to mark the day of his death.
