Should the Führer bunker in Berlin be opened?

People would definitely recreate the Downfall memes. I think it'd end up being a hipster hang out or become trashed by vagrants and the homeless.

If it had been preserved, it would have been very historically significant. However, I doubt the accuracy of any reproduction as it was extensively modified, then damaged, then obliterated during the war. That being the case, I see no significence to whatever were to be created.

Back when I visited (2000s) that wasn't yet so much a thing and you had to have connections to get the good info. Supposedly though much has changed and according to my local sources the city has been overrun by Hipsters.

Germany already has to deal with too many Nazis, I feel like they’d take this as some sort of sign of respect or acceptance when they very much are not accepted. I wouldn’t want to visit it and I wouldn’t want to see it recognized or preserved in any shape.

Over time, it will sink further into the ground and be filled in with groundwater and dirt naturally over time. Without maintenance, nothing will be left of it.

You'd have better luck attempting to reconstruct a brand new replica that isn't the original, but is built to current code so far as bunkers go.
