It´s a fair question, given how some media reported on the matter...

Certainly not. What do you think the Rogers outage is?

This has been less than amusing I must say. No cell phone, and no home internet. Can't pay for shit. I wonder what the government is planning to do about this?

I hope at the bare minimum they uphold the CRTC's ruling that Shaw and Rogers be banned from merging.

As for me, it hasn't affected me quite as much since while my phone is part of Rogers, my TV and internet is handled by Shaw, so I'm not completely fucked like many people are across the country. Does suck big time, though.
I don't. Imagine what they could accomplish with their outage powers combined.
Canadian networks would be completely unhackable. Because they would be down.

Sadly no, I can still remember the HONK HONKS in my sleep. Pretty sure that was code for Heil Hitler for some meth induced reason, how can these evil truckers protest against our cuck great leader Justin Trudeau! I mean he froze all the protestors bank accounts and enacted the Emergency act over people going HONK HONK and banned protesting across the nation but cmon thats not that bad!

British Columbia's NDP has more or less picked Horgan's successor: Attorney General David Eby is the likely winner as most other prominent party figures refuse to run against him

Meanwhile, federal Tories should be voting by now as the ballots have been sent out for Pollievre's coronationthe leadership vote, which will be decided on September 10.

Yes, there are some issues, but it's better for people to make the choice as long as they know they are making the choice.

There would be riots so massive the entire country would devolve into civil war. Like Libya.

Do you really want us to be part of America? Because for all of Canada's faults (like legislated poverty among disabled peoples, our maltreatment of indigenous peoples, terrible urban planning, high housing prices, et cetera, et cetera), at least we're not part of a country who is beginning to adopt the principles of Christofascism.

In other news heavily-redacted documents show that the government may have been close to a settlement with the Freedom Convoy before the Emergencies Act was invoked

And we're now less than two months away from the Quebecois election, with CAQ poised to gain seats in the National Assembly.

I predict a CAQ supermajority with a reduced PLQ opposition and a crippled Parti, with QS gaining control over the left-wing nationalist vote. The PCQ will win 1-2 seats but come fourth in popular.

Indeed, because the United States is famous for its record on human rights protections in the healthcare system.

America at best only thinks it can treat symptoms and not the actual disease. Biden doesn't know the secret for good mental health and wouldn't change shit.

This is not a good argument in the slight Caverton. Seriously I even have American citizenship myself and I'm the son of American immigrants and we all collectively agree that the US annexing Canada would be the worst possible thing that could happen to this country, save for nuclear apocalypse.

I agree, and if cavertons problem is with Cuba he can vote on a political party that suits him instead of giving away our country.
So the CCP won't let me be or let me be me so let me see, they tried to shut me down on CBC but it feels so empty without me.

I don't know about that, Trudeau's been a fairly Meh PM to be honest.

Yeah I mean sure he's decently corrupt and broke most of his elections promises but he's at least not a conservative. And he did ban conversion therapy, open up blood donations to gay and bisexual men and handle COVID at least ok. I'd prefer him over Harper any day.
