Bernier is actually fighting in his own riding. He spent nearly half the campaign in Beauce to make sure he would keep it. He has virtually no chance of gaining any seat according to every polls.

Bernier only has his own seat, so he's likely gonna retain it.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

Well if he retains it he might keep his little party alive for a few years... He might even pull a Farage in due time and pull the largest share of the vote in 10 years if he does exceptionally well!

OK, everybody, if you remember '15, the media shows who's leading whether they're actually going to win or not...so no spamming with too many posts about the numbers, or the mods will come down on us again.

Tbh I'd doubt a foreign born person could become PM. Maybe if they've lived in Canada since being a toddler, but even dual citizens born in Canada have had it rough. Michael Ignatieff was shit on since he hadn't lived in Canada for a very long time and was portrayed basically as being an American. Which also reminds me, America bashing is pretty popular in elections. Elizabeth May is the exception, but that's because, well, it's Elizabeth May and I doubt most people are even aware that she was born in the US.
Don't cry because it's coming to an end, smile because it happened.

I decided to look up how a lot of Canada's eastern provinces voted in past elections...

... Even your countryside is pretty left-wing, Jesus Christ, even Sweden doesn't have that I think.

Last time was anomaly. Tories will probably retake good chunks of PEI and New Brunswick tonight at least.

So my thought process for pros and cons for how I voted (liberal):

Cons:

the new Democratic system promise broken that was going to replace FPTP
the whole jet thing (We really do need new jets)
oh and that dumb ass comment "We can't spend more on vets"

Pros:

Weed
Local rep is a cool dude
Con's goverment would be a mess
NDP/ Greens would be a no go
Strong economy

That, I think, is how plenty of Liberal voters felt today.

The NDP just got their first race called, taking St. John's East from the Liberals. All the other called races are Liberal holds.

Did the CBC accidentally make an error in calling Beausejour for the GPC? It's a rural NB constituency, I don't buy it.

Edit: Also at what time (EST) can we expect results from QC and ON?

They made an error, yes, the Liberals held it.

At the half hour is when QC and ON's polls close.
