1. Yes, I do. But not because it's the humane thing to do, or because it's in the spirit of Christmas or any other reason. I simply thought of throwing her a bone every once in a while, seeing as how she's being very cooperative and all.

2. Well, Christmas is just another event to me, albeit one I don't believe in. As a budding atheist, I really don't celebrate any religious holiday, but of course that won't stop me from taking advantage of the situation. Christmas discounts are very good for the wallet after all (and I get free stuff from my religious family members, YAY!). And, like I explained in my answer to 1, Christmas doesn't factor into my decision in giving her a meal.

3. I do believe that prisoners deserve humane treatment, no matter how horrendous their crimes are or how terrible a person they are. They're still our fellow human beings after all. With that in mind, I support giving them special meals on holidays. Of course, when I'm the one being asked to decide, I still might be biased due to personal decisions.

I would have preferred to give her the death penalty, but I'm also not into making people's lives worse in petty, malicious ways just for spite. She's already neutralized, so is no longer an active enemy, either.

1. She eats, she is in prison to be in prison, not to be additionally shat on. If this is the prison policy, and there is no reason to take it away as to behavior, I see no reason to deny her the privilege.

Since she's in maximum security confinement for mass murder, I'd say give her a small slightly better meal then what she normally eats. Nothing to special but special enough. Instead of water, maybe a cup of cocoa, instead of moldy bread, maybe half a good baguette, etc.

The following scenario is designed to get you to think about the meaning of Christmas and whether or not everyone has a right to celebrate it.

I don't celebrate Christmas so it doesn't mean anything to me. Muslims shouldn't be celebrating other religious holidays whatsoever. We have our own holidays. As for others, idc, but it does lose it's original meaning when non-Christians celebrate a Christian holiday.
