No it's not. It's just a bunch of animals that happened to evolve differently, struggling to survive while having a very limited understanding of what they are doing or why. It's a bloody struggle between beings that are clumsy, dumb and just plain pathetic. Don't try to romanticize it.

Also, now that I think about it a little more, I'm pretty sure Cabelas would in short order have on it's shelves a DIY smokehouse rub tailored for various selects of whale meat in short order if this came to pass as well. Bourbon Beluga, Blue Cheese Whale, Killer teriyaki whale sauce, ect ect
