Personally, when I'm just hanging out in my room, I prefer to have my lights off. It's calming, imo. I just hate walking in the dark.

Well for me, no, I'm not usually afraid of the dark at all due to the fact that I tend to watch creepypastas and scary videos in the dark which has made me more accustomed to the dark. Besides from that, the only time I'd be afraid of the dark was if I was walking in a pretty dangerous street at night and if I'm at a supposedly haunted place(not saying that I believe in ghosts). If I heard some movement and noises then I'd be cautious but not too afraid.
