Depends on the state constitution. The state may have a provision which states that the previous years budget will be used if one can’t be made. I know that’s how it works in Georgia.

More than likely not, although they have attacked anyone who opposes gender bolshevism in the past, so going after moderate social conservatives isn't exactly foreign to them.
Still, no one cares enough about Nazis to start retaliating. No one thinks that Ron Paul lovers getting in streetfights necessitates an armed response. Off the top of my head, the pro-life movement is probably the highest antifa priority that would actually bring much of a violent response.

Rural Oregon is pretty Republican. I think it’s safe to say it doesn’t take Russian hacking to get farmers and timber workers to vote Republican. So I’m going to assume they were elected fairly. And they should do their best to protect their constituents’ interests. Especially when their jobs and livelyhoods are on the line. Because judging by the protests of this cap and trade bill, they are.

The desire to be reelected will compel them to return. Ploys like this might increase their popularity among their base but not if they drag it out too long. This will probably shape out how it has before: Senators walk out for a few days and return after getting some choice (or token) concessions on the bill, bill passes, everybody goes back to work.
