No he wasn't. He obeyed the rules of the organization he belonged to and did his best to root out those that didn't. He exposed lairs and cheats and rule breakers. That is a good trait. Blind enforcement of rules is what you want in a person who holds positions of power.

All you had Tom do basically amounted to being a bit of a douche when he was in college. That is not uncommon for college students. Seriously this "scandal" is not even that big of a scandal and if that is the biggest scandal in his past then that makes me want to vote for him more.

Basically, all my state’s electors go to the winner of the popular vote in the state, which will vote for the republican candidate even if he was literally reanimated zombie Stalin.
If Tom is republican, he carries my state regardless of my vote. If he’s a democrat, he loses regardless of my vote.
