When I get a Berger I expect 100% beef, bacon I expect 100% beef or pork, Checken I expect 100% white meat, Turkey I expect 100% Turkey, for Deer i expect 100% white tail meat ETC, ETC!

Most of the reviews I have read mirror one of the OP's post. Vegetarians like it, meat eaters not so much. As the product develops I would think it would get better and appeal to more people.

As a card carrying Omnivore I doubt I would buy it, unless it had a picture of the Hoff on the label, then I would buy out the store. That said if I were served it at a dinner party I wouldnt throw up over it, though if I didnt like it, i would make fun of it.

I have eaten meatless burgers before. Not bad. It has even been better for me, actually. I don’t process meat, particularly red meat, very well. But I also don’t fuss over what other people decide to eat.

Well one of those is an entire animal. An animal that has to be raised from birth. Fed, watered, given exercise, protected from disease. Possibly bred with other animals and helped through birthing the next generation. And finally slaughtered humanely. Whereas the other is just a vat of meat.

Eh, if this were the only thing that was served at a dinner party, as I have done at company dinners/luncheons where it's a vegan menu, I would just ask the wait staff for a menu or I would go and purchase my own food.

I had started writing a similar response but then I was like 'I just can't be bothered'.. I kind of assumed someone else would take on the mantle.

Still, food is such a weird thing, people will cry out at, say, eating puppies while chowing down on their hamburger, taste is honestly among the most acquired preference, or thinking there's no practical difference between livestock over vat grown meat while decrying genetics and abortion but happily buying food built on misery.

I've a friend on a diet I can't remember the name of but has a K in it that apparently means you just eat the fattiest meat available. I had to sit through a dinner listening to him talking to all these benefits and just..

The human relationship to food is bizarre.
