Freak.

But the majority of Americans do. So they're already okay with eating insects. It's all a matter of marketing now.

I eat very little of chocolate, depending on the type it actually causes me stomach issues. And I can’t handle the texture of peanut butter.

However the amount of insects that are in those foods is minuscule compared to an entire patty made of insect protein

Most chocolate is just sugar stretched with fat. Pure carbs. Disgusting. Actual chocolate has a slight bitter taste.

We get it. You've cut carbs out of your diet. But right now you sound like vegan telling everyone about their veganism. So shoo.

Life is chocolate coated coffee beans. Sweet and slightly bitter as long as you just suck. Bite down and it's all bitterness and terrible grittiness.

Actual chocolate is only consumed by Aztec Nobility, if we’re gonna be pedantic.

And where is the Aztec nobility now, hmmm? Exactly. If human history has taught us anything - and sometimes I despair that it has taught us anything - it is that things once reserved to the "nobility" are sooner or later shared by the non-nobility.

I'm sure if it's deemed profitable many people won't even know as the food industry reclassifies crickets as magic flying cows.

New idea: genetically engineer bugs to be the size of cows.

But on a more serious note, I’ve tried both crickets and mealworms, and they were pretty tasty, so I’m down for it.

Boom - deforestation dealt with, and alternative meat sources developed. It's a win-win (or not, depending on how big the bugs become)

I'll skip the veggie burgers.

Honestly if theologians are losing their shit over a plant patty, just wait until they find out about the ability to grow meat chunks without harming an animal in order to make food.
