I’d rather not eat bugs. I can stomach plants but I draw the line at bugs and I believe many Americans do to. So in the end insect protein based meat would only be a net loss and not a net gain compared to cows
I'm sure if it's deemed profitable many people won't even know as the food industry reclassifies crickets as magic flying cows.
