Why stop there? Why not just replace schools with churches?
Replace teachers with nuns

Evolution means humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. Proven via miller/urey. Creationism means we don't know where/when existence began so here is a myth. I consider creation myths an important part of culture but they should not be taught in a publicly funded school.

As to that not being new in schools, yeah that in and of itself is a big problem. Teachers need to have at least some knowledge of their subject or they are not doing their job.
As to teaching creationism in science classes, which version of creationism. How long do you think it would take to go through all the various creation tales? What scientific evidence would you use to support each version of creationism?
The creationism that I would support in science classes would be young earth creationism, and everything else would be religious studies anyway.Kannap wrote:It's a no from me dawg, but if we're going to do it I'm going to have to nominate my high school biology teacher who referred to evolution as "EVIL-ution" literally every single time she said it.
That's actually how I say it.

Creationism shouldn't be taught at all imo. Schools should only teach what we have solid evidence for: unless creationists have some evidence they would like to share, it doesn't meet that and shouldn't be taught.
Whether or not it's unconstitutional, I don't know.

There is evidence for creation science here.
[T]he Discovery Institute created a document rejecting evolution entitled "A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism," then requested that people with PhDs in science or MDs in medicine sign it. This document has been available since 2001, yet a bit less than 1000 people signed it out of the millions of scientists across the globe. That is including every person; out of only people with a degree relating to biology or geology, the count drops to an abysmal 350.
