Why stop at just teaching creationism. Infect the public schools with all the religious staples of school, weaponize all the science teachers with yard sticks to ensure those demonic left-handed children are forcing themselves to use their right hands instead.

Why stop there? Why not just replace schools with churches?

I corrected your tenses there; that it was just Christian mythology is why it was found unconstitutional. It's also only the mythology of some sects that reject scientific fact and insist on a literal interpretation of one of the creation stories in the bible (there are two incompatible versions given).

That said, why teach falsehood along with truth? Why are some people's strange beliefs given mention here and not elsewhere in school? Do we teach that 2 + 2 = 5 or that the US is ten thousand years old, and was created by gnomes? They are all nonsense, and have no place in education.

The volume of evidence to discredit young Earth creationism is so overwhelming that actually believing in it is nigh on inexcusable at this point.

Look, if it means school is on Sunday only and we get six day weekends, it's worth it.

By encouraging pseudo-science to be spread in schools, you are opening the floodgates for the acceptance of 'science as subjective' rubbish which completely ruins what science is meant to be, an objective worldview based on facts, evidence, logical thinking and research. If you think bullshit pseudo-science should be taught in schools then you're only aiding the intellectual degradation of society and destroying the ability of people to rationally look at facts and evidence, as you once more return the religious dogma of creation and science denial, which will lead towards inability of people to research and have a scientific worldview once they become adults. Even if you mask this dogma as 'just alternative facts that need to be taken into account for research!!!', it's still bullshit with no evidence, and therefore is incompatible with a research based worldview.

Religion should be kept far, far away from schools, lest we return to the intellectual dark ages, where the ability of people to think rationally and see the world as something to be questioned is eroded away by religious bullshit with no backing by anyone except total crackpots on conservative creationist conspiracy websites.

We were taught both in my high school. When the teacher said that "Evolution means we come from apes" I objected. I told him he was incorrect and he told me to leave.

Evolution means humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. Proven via miller/urey. Creationism means we don't know where/when existence began so here is a myth. I consider creation myths an important part of culture but they should not be taught in a publicly funded school.

I only know about it/brought it up because my closest friend had to suffer through the anti-left hand torture in a Lutheran elementary school (luckily after only a few years there she managed to land in public school) and to this day she's ambidextrous because of that bad experience.

Evolution means humans are apes, not that we are somehow immune to the monophyletic grouping of "ape."

As to teaching creationism in science classes, which version of creationism. How long do you think it would take to go through all the various creation tales? What scientific evidence would you use to support each version of creationism?

The creationism that I would support in science classes would be young earth creationism, and everything else would be religious studies anyway.

Creationism has no place in any schools. The scientific consensus is against it, and as such, it can't be taught as fact.

Creationism shouldn't be taught at all imo. Schools should only teach what we have solid evidence for: unless creationists have some evidence they would like to share, it doesn't meet that and shouldn't be taught.

Whether or not it's unconstitutional, I don't know.

If you scroll down, here's a list of creation scientists.

There is evidence for creation science here.

Most of those are not biologists (and many of the biologists who are creationists are biochemists, which is barely even biology in the first place), which makes their opinions wholly irrelevant to the scientific validity of creationism. I took a look at the similar Discovery Institute's "A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism" in a paper that I wrote:
[T]he Discovery Institute created a document rejecting evolution entitled "A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism," then requested that people with PhDs in science or MDs in medicine sign it. This document has been available since 2001, yet a bit less than 1000 people signed it out of the millions of scientists across the globe. That is including every person; out of only people with a degree relating to biology or geology, the count drops to an abysmal 350.

Note that this was a very liberal definition of "relating to biology or geology," including biophysicists, biochemists, and some even more peripheral fields.
