I wonder if things would've been worse under a President Hillary Clinton.

Unlike the ERE under the Angelos I am not willing to go down without a fight.
Maybe you'll be Stilicho, or Michael VIII Palaiologos. I wish you the best of luck with that. As hard as you try, you can't turn back the tide of history, but that doesn't mean you can't make a valiant effort, and be remembered for it. You can certainly soften the blow.

Well I would rather be a Justinian I or Constantine I but eh, we can only do what we can, with what we have.
In reality I will be a nobody never remembered but not from a lack of caring on my point.

Completely changed the course on the PRC. Which is the most important thing.
Reversed Obama’s military cuts. Those at least were good.
Again a mixed bag, not the best, not the worst. But better than the last 4 (a damn low bar TBH)

Wallahi, Iran has demonstrated their intentions in Iraq and Syria is this not enough? The children gassed to death by Bashar? The children run over by their tanks? Massacres so great even the crooks who support Bashar condemn their brutality? Do you not see it? Do you not see the colonization and theft by their hands? Do you not know of their gangs, that exist for sole reason of murdering people? Wallahi tears are shed writing this, tears are shed knowing that no one on this earth not even people who call themselves Muslims dare take a stand against them, no one and the earth has turned their backs on the Arab people at let them die in the most horrendous of ways at the hands of the Safavids and when the one lions with the courage to fight them fought them and was murdered by these people, who shouted loudly and proudly their hatred, as Saddam said the Kalima, he was a martyr and when Umar Ibn Khattab said Iraq was Allah's spear in the Earth and the skull of the Arabs, Saddam brought this saying to life under his leadership, May Allah grant his Akhirah with Izz for his services.

It's actually quite bizarre to me the way this is being played up as some dramatic technothriller moment when it was just Trump, alone, waffling about what would get him the most applause at his next rally.

Pretty sure Bolton and Pompeo pressed hard for it. Actually Trumps reluctance to go spill blood is quite remarkable. The two Syria strikes were being conducted with prior warning.
