I'm not Irish, I am a Marxist, I'm not a he, not a tankie either, I do like Stalin.
So, do you have an argument, or are you just going to type out how I'm an "ebil ccP shill tanky" until you fall into a food coma?

You're still a tankie, which is unaffected by gender or nationality.

Khrushchev was fairly moderate and liberal by the standards of Soviet leaders, certainly when compared with extremists like Stalin or Brezhnev.
Saying that you don't like Khruschev when you approve of Stalin doesn't make you sound any less like a tankie.

you're following the biased Imperalist narrative.
Maybe the CCP "party line" which has been reported on by numerous non-CCP organisations is actually the truth?
it's just a way to remove differing opinions,
you're objectively wrong in this case and whether you see it on not is not my decision

Wait, are you serious?
I will never understand spoiled Westerners - they have had it relatively good for most of their lives, yet they love an authoritarian leader of a country that they have never lived in, nor have their parents or their grandparents.
As someone whose family "enjoyed" the Soviet Union and the queues for bread & basic landline phones (not even a meme, there was a 'deficit' of everything), these people literally disgust me.
I guess Soviet times weren't all that bad though - people got their driver's license by driving ~100m in a car meant for handicapped people because the normal driving examination Zaporozhets broke.

Khrushchev was no moderate, that's for darn sure. And I'm not a tankie because I don't support Khrushchev, that's where the phrase tankie came from

Oh, you lived under Stalin? That's incredible, you must be like 70. I envy you, my elder, you must've lived through so much and seen so much of history's greatest events. How was Comrade Stalin? Was he a nice man?

How many of them have a vested interest in not pissing off CCP? How many of them have a vested interest in authoritarian ideologies?Eodor wrote:Whataboutism is not an argument,
Correct, its a deflection strategy Tankies and other authoritarians use when they can't come up with a good counterargument. By resorting to it, you eliminate whatever credibility you had.it's just a way to remove differing opinions,
I guess a tankie of all people would know all about that.you're objectively wrong in this case and whether you see it on not is not my decision

Nah, I'm tired as shit and edited my post accordingly.
This isn't just "under Stalin" - this is about my family under the "glorious Union" - from 1945 to 1990.

I guess I must be an authoritarian, supporting the abolition of hierarchy and the state,
must be massively totalitarian.
Wouldn't want to piss off the CCP, a political party on the other side of the world that couldn't hurt me if it tried. You're so brave standing against them, you must be so stressed having to look out for bitcoin assassins or whatever nonsense you've decided the CCP would pull
