I mean america's army traces it's roots back to the continenrals who were basically a militant group

Well, the PRC is the illegally occupied parts of Republic of China legally (that's right) in the same sense that Mosul between 2014 and 2018 was an illegally occupied Iraqi city. Since PRC and IS are illegal rebel groups controlling territories just like the Taliban or the former FARC they don't have militaries. The so-called PLA is as much of a Chinese military as ISIS militants in Iraq are the Iraqi military.

Consider the fact that pretty much every country bar the ROC recognises the PRC as legitimate, and I can't think of a country that recognised ISIS as a country.

There has been a gradual loss of restraint on the part of the police. They will be clearly told during training to not use tear gas inside buildings, and the fact that they have started doing so either means that the command and control and discipline mechanisms inside the HK police are starting to break down, or they have been told to start using tear gas in all situations to disperse protesters.

Corporations flourish in China and the free market reigns supreme there. It's far from communist. It's definitely a totalitarian nightmare but anything communist about it died under deng xiaopeng. North Korea is communist as hell, but China isnt. It isn't about how tyrannical the state is. It's about what the tyrants are cool with

China has always been a land of tyrants and autocrats.

Right. However by this standard CCP doesn't actually control China because they don't control Taiwan. It is just a particularly successful rebel group.

Venezuela does not stop being a country when Guaido declared himself the acting president. China did not stop being a country after CCP took power. All I'm arguing is that:

1. PRC isn't a legitimate state.
2. The armed wing of CCP, the PLA, is not the military of China.

Or else what? They'll start World war III over an island? The US government already knows China abuses people's rights. Have you seen them do anything? No, because our government only points out human rights abuses when it's a country we don't like. When it's china, a major trade partner, it's nothing but cricket noises

Fucking wrong again mate, it's very existence was dependent on the Nazi regime:

The Wehrmacht (German pronunciation: [ˈveːɐ̯maxt] (About this soundlisten), lit. defence force) was the unified armed forces of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945. It consisted of the Heer (army), the Kriegsmarine (navy) and the Luftwaffe (air force). The designation "Wehrmacht" replaced the previously used term Reichswehr, and was the manifestation of the Nazi regime's efforts to rearm Germany to a greater extent than the Treaty of Versailles permitted
