With how Trump runs the White House (with as few people and little supervision as possible) Barr might as well be Trump's liver.

Is he in the running to be the first person to leave the Trump Regime without a drinking problem?

I thought, "Sixteenth thread ... hmmm ... sixteen candles ... " but I couldn't think how to relate "Can I borrow your underpants for ten minutes?" to the President.

A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me" Farn have you been listening to FOB if your first thoughts are Sixteen Candle for the 16th MAGAThread?

If they wanted it accurate and thus really troll Donnie, they should have made it short- but not freakishly so- with a wide head to make it look like that one character in Mario Kart.

Yes, as acting AG.

Barr is actually AG, confirmed by the Senate. This is the timeline we live in.

We had a title for the Mooch at one point, but he was in and out so quick it feels like but a distant dream.

Why is his approval up a bit during all of this overall, though?

Evidently there are people who think we should impeach but on the other hand he's doing an overall okay job.

You got it wrong. It's not about draining the swamp dry, it's draining the swamp to spread the swamp water around and make an Everglades.

Or, to paraphrase Sarah Palin: "How's that swamp-y, drain-y thing goin' for ya?"

Impeach, but they think there's no grounds? What?

Or, there's a subset of the population that responds with "yes" to every question they're polled about.

It's in the same statistical range it's been in almost his entire presidency.

'Purged' North Korean diplomat Kim Yong Chol appears in state media

A high ranking North Korean official supposedly gulaged for his part in the failed February talks with Donnie was apparently spotted in North Korean footage alive and well. In fact it seems exaggerating the purging and deaths of many North Koreans are apparently exaggerated.

Supposedly executed NK officials have been popping back up for a while. Either they bullahit about executing people, or whoever gathers this information misconstrued disciplinary action or demotions for much worse.

NK being..well, NK, a lot of our reports come from a single SK source with a propensity of exaggeration about what happens in NK when it comes to purges and executions.

It is possible to think he is doing a good job, but also that he has committed crimes that he should be punished for. The grounds for impeachment, after all, are not "he is doing badly". It's "he committed high crimes or misdemeanours"

Seems a few days ago, there was some saber rattling between the US and Chinese defense secretaries during the Shangri-La talks in Singapore over Taiwan and the islands in the South China Sea. The Chinese said they would go to war to make sure Taiwan remains part of China. Seems they feel the US is supporting an independent Taiwan. If things get out of hand it could get really ugly.

True, that is. Though doing your job properly is intertwined with not committing such high crimes and misdemeanors.
