The peddlers of lies are surely telling the truth now that Google is, for once, being responsible and not helping to spread their lies.

I'll definitely hear them out, especially if attempts to shut them up by the group being exposed start to happen.
Though it's nice to see you admit that HuffPo is as unreliable as Veritas

So when was HuffPo nailed for doctoring videos or trying to bug a legislator's office?

Yah I'm sure THIS time the infamous yellow journalist is telling the truth!
Like Gauth said, broken clocks can still be right, and occasionally Veritas does produce something that is at least actually eyebrow raising. Admittedly I don't know anything at all about the most recent stuff so I can't comment on it but given it's seemingly about Google, yeah I wouldn't be shocked if there was some shitty behavior being exposed.

I don't even know what you're trying to get at here. Alleging hypocrisy? lmaoSo when was HuffPo nailed for doctoring videos or trying to bug a legislator's office?
Hey, it's you who said that Huffpo and Veritas are comparable, I just removed the obfuscation. That's a question for you to answer.

No, that was asking if you'd suddenly find a story from the two left journalist sites just as credible as you always find PV credible. My suspicion is "no".

Not really. Project Veritas famously got ACORN defunded, repeatedly, and shut down despite ACORN ultimately being proven to not have done anything wrong at all. Accusations don't have to be true to be damaging, so it does not follow that if Google wants to protect its reputation from these accusations then they must be true. And Google has been saying for years now that they are going to try and stop the proliferation of fake news.

Google's reputation is damn near untouchable, with the only people able to take them down being themselves and an antitrust suit. They don't need to suppress the information.
If it's false. they just need to demonstrate that, which should be easy.
Seems like Google is afraid because it is themselves that they're being hurt by.
Also, lemme just appreciate the weirdness of leftists siding with a monopoly because the other option is shady journalism
