That's why we need conscription with no exceptions.

One thing I will give trump; he significantly increased the divisiveness and hate levels of this country.
Politics used to be a thing to avoid at family gathers; I have seen many families stop talking to relations over politics. I have actually seen a couple relationships break up and even friendships end over politics.
Hell I used to have an associate I respected in TKD. He went full trump and we no longer talk. All but accused me of supporting child rape over questioning if pizzagate was real.
Probably his greatest accomplishment.

I'm sure Trump desperately wants the opportunity to prove what a big, strong, brave military leader he is with some big flashy military conflict, but he's also afraid that a significant military commitment might actually be the one thing that will make his cultists balk.
Though I don't know what he's really worried about, all available evidence suggests that all he has to do is Tweet about what a great thing it is and the conservatives will be insisting that starting another war is always 100% what they knew Trump would do, what they wanted him to do, and why they voted for him in the first place, and anyone who questions or criticizes it is obviously an America hating traitor who wants the terrorists to win!

Trump's base leans strongly isolationist. You have no idea what you're talking about.

First, The Feds cut the rates again by .25 points, which means the rates are 1.75-2%; Trump upset it wasn't big enough cut. Given Trump wants 0% to negative interest rates to make the economy look good in 2020, I'm not surprised. Honestly a good thing a President can't run the Fed: we would be in multiple recessions...
Not to mention, this quote (bolded) sums my view: The stock market is of course disappointed with the limit on the amount of candy they'll get, but more rate cuts assumes an ever slowing economy and that's not something to cheer for.

Act of war? Genuine question, why is what Iran has allegedly done to SA an act of war justifying US intervention but what the Saudis have done to Yemen not?

Honestly imo SA should be economically punished for all the bullshit they've caused everybody else, from Yemen to 9/11 and beyond.
