What makes it especially different under a two party system?

It tends to become a very adversarial system, with two clear sides standing against each other.

But that said, you seem to be misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying it would be "especially different". I'm saying the process of having politicians draw districts is flawed in the first place, and the flaws are exacerbated in a two-party system because of the extremely adversarial environment such a system can foster.

No, it literally is intentionally misrepresented. Or are you really going to try to tell me that North Carolina's map is drawn that way in an attempt to group local communities?

How about Maryland’s? It’s always funny to me that the people bitching about gerrymandering really only carry about republican gerrymandering. Just like how the vast majority of those who suddenly oppose the electoral college, only do so because the Dems lost it in 2016.

If we really only cared about Republican gerrymandering we wouldn't fight it all the way to the Supreme Court, since a SCOTUS decisions scrapping partisan gerrymandering affects Democrats as well.

As for the EC, it shouldn't really be surprising that overt evidence of something being broken makes people more inclined to want it fixed.

"Hurr Durr, look at those Democrats, now suddenly mad at the EC just because it has voided the popular vote for 2 of the last 3 Presidents and always in favor of the same party!"

Oddly enough it was the republicans who brought the Maryland case to SCOTUS, because they’re the ones on the receiving end there. But in general, as all these articles have shown, people tend to focus on the big mean republicans. Interest in gerrymandering is purely partisan.

It’s not broken, it’s working as intended. We don’t elect our presidents by popular vote, tfb.

That guy is a dude caught up in sex trafficking including underage girls. A guy Trump once complemented on his taste in women, singling out that he liked 'em young.

The GOP says that suckering people with fake census forms is a big money and no one has stopped them, so game on. And Tel is cool with that.

It's hard to keep track of all the 'it's not shady if it's not explicitly illegal' shenanigans going on.

Which is part of the reason why Americans should dispense with the Constitution this one time -- and overthrow this president, his veep, his appointees, and his Mitch -- who want nothing to do with the Constitution for all time.

Yeah, because whichever Strongman does will totally give up power and restore the Republic once they take such autocratic steps...

And if you care to do the digging, you'll find plenty of my posts from well before 2016 condeming the Electoral College. Don't project your own mercenary attitude onto others.

Wait until Conservatives cry outrage because the media didn't go after the so-called evil Democrat by the name of Obama. I won't lie though: the media has been particularly hard on Trump (their reporting isn't wrong; just bias and negative). But Trump hires some of the worst people. My god, they suck.

Did I just did a Guath line? That boi (gurl?) is making me bring out my dark side.
