Any evidence that is the case? That the universe can't function just fine in its own without a god? I'll give you some evidence to the contrary: the combined sum total evidence thus far given by the sciences, in all its various branches, has shown that day-to-day functioning of the known universe doesn't need a god holding all the pieces together in order to keep everything ticking over.
