Not at all because "marginalization" in this context means "being treated like men." Your refusal to acknowledge the problems men face means you have no fucking standing to complain about the same problems being suffered by Transgender people. If this is about comfort then show how it's gender and not sex that makes women in shelters uncomfortable, I'd it's about shelter show how neither sex nor socialization are what makes men dangerous, if it's an arbitrary division then accept that you don't necessarily get to dictate where the arbitrary line is drawn.

It's an interesting question though. What are the percentage proportions of male/female/non-segregated homeless shelters? A quick google doesn't reveal any standout statistics.

This is a particularly difficult question.

I don't know.

What I DO know is that the shelters available to women are typically very very different than the ones available to men. Men's shelters tend to be homeless shelters. You get a place to sleep that's warm, and if you're exceptionally lucky, you get a meal. If you hit the jackpot, it's a hot meal.

Women's shelters typically tend to be more along the lines of domestic violence shelters - that is, they provide a warm place to sleep, a hot meal, help with filing police reports, help with filing for government benefits, assistance in acquiring basic housing, counseling, etc etc. It really is a case of separate but equal never being equal.

There's a few that break the mold (the very first DV shelter for men opened in Batesville, AR 4 years ago, and now there's one in Texas too), but very few. Trans persons tend to get doubly screwed, as they are frequently not allowed to use the shelter for women (as women find them "dangerous"), and not allowed to use the homeless shelter for men (because shelter operators think men will be too dangerous for them). There's a lot of sexism here that results in trans persons getting super screwed, and the best answer is...

Let's just stop segregation. It worked at Little Rock High.

There is no human evil in the world that feminism is not directly responsible for apparently.
Bloodthirsty savages who call for violence against the Right while simultaneously being unarmed defenseless sissies who will get slaughtered by the gun-toting Right in a civil war.

When you run an organization, based on a movement's principles, and that organization does bad things, it does tend to reflect badly on the people running it, and the principles underpinning it, yes.

EDIT: That's why when Trump's government does bad things, it tends to reflect badly on him, even if he didn't personally order the exact bad thing. It happened under his watch, and he's responsible for it.
